Ligna Energy partners up with e-peas to supercharge ambient IoT solutions
We’re happy to share that we’ve partnered up with e-peas to further develop European-made ambient IoT solutions! By combining Ligna’s eco-friendly supercapacitors with e-peas’ high-efficiency energy harvesting technology, we’re taking a big step toward making energy use in wireless electronics even more efficient and sustainable.
The e-peas product that is best matched with our products is the AEM10330. It is a power management chip that maximizes energy extraction from photovoltaic (PV) cells and other intermittent power sources. With features like a buck-boost converter and maximum power point tracking (MPPT), it ensures that every bit of energy is captured and converted as efficiently as possible. This, combined with our bio-based supercapacitors, makes it possible to store energy and power small devices without relying on traditional batteries – all while reducing environmental impact.
This collaboration marks an exciting milestone for us as we work to offer lithium-free and European-made solutions for Ambient IoT applications. Together, we’re helping to redefine what’s possible for long-term, low-power devices, enabling smarter and more sustainable technology for the future.
Stay tuned to learn more about exciting projects we’re working on together!
