Founded in 2021 by E Ink Holdings Inc., BOE Technology, and SEEKINK, the ePaper Industry Alliance (EPIA) has grown to over 260 member companies spanning display manufacturers, chip makers, OEMs, system integrators, and component suppliers.
ePaper (electronic paper) is a paper-like display technology that does not emit its own light, relies on ambient light reflection to form images, and consumes no power to maintain static images.
By 2025, cumulative ePaper shipments had exceeded 2.1 billion units, across electronic shelf labels, asset tracking, medical wearables, and smart building sensors.
What these applications share: ultra-low power consumption and wireless operation. That’s exactly where our S-Power supercapacitors come in, enabling energy harvesting and battery-free operation for the next generation of ePaper devices.
We’re joining EPIA to get closer to the companies building this space, and to bring our component technology into more hands-on conversations with developers and system designers.
